Brand Your E-mail Campaigns: GetResponse’s Assign Domain

by darrenolander on June 9, 2010

I have created a quick video tutorial to show you how to Assign your own domain name within your GetResponse account. What this allows you to do is change the tracking urls and unsubscribe links from getresponse.com to your OWN domain name. They use a cloaking technique to do this, and by doing this you can increase your brand and click-through rates within your emails.

If you want to do this but don’t have a GetResponse Account (I don’t know of any other autoresponders that have this feature), you can get one here.

Here it is:

Now enjoy your new branded e-mail campaigns!

All the best,

Darren Olander

    Hi Darren,
Thank you for putting up this video it gave me some great ideas.
Really stupid of getresponse not to have some clear information on it. But your video helps.
    Cheers,
    Walter

    Hi Darren,

    Thanks for posting this!
I just tried to set this up in GetResponse. The interface is different now. Is the last step still required (Add Domain to Campaign)?

    Thanks,

    Rudy

Yikes, those buggers made it even more hidden. Ok, this is what to do.

1.) Choose your campaign from the top right, then click the gear icon.
2.) On the General Tab, scroll all the way down and you will see a link for
      advanced settings, click that.
3.) Under Manage your domains select the domain you created and want assigned
      for that campaign.

      That will do it! :-)
